What a small world

Today was not all that interesting. We had class in the morning and then I did some work, facetimed for a bit and cleaned. Pretty typical home living. But I did get an email from Nathalie!

A few days ago when Kristina and I were walking home from the beach a woman named Nathalie spotted my UVIC t-shirt and stopped us to say that SHE IS FROM SOOKE! WHAT! She is vacationing with family in France but will being heading back to Vancouver Island in a few days! What a small world, I was not expecting to meet anyone from Vancouver island on this trip. She is from France so I believe they visit often but I am not sure, we didn’t get to chat for long but we did take this photo. :)

They were all so warm and friendly and gave us their contact information if we need any help while we are here in France which was so generous to offer.
