Early start
A pigeon with only 1 toe on each foot I thought was interesting in Nice.
Today we had to travel to Nice for our OFII appointment to get our french residency stamp in our passports. We don’t have a printer so we had to wake up super early to get to the airport to use the printer there because everything was closed on Sunday. The whole country seems to shut down on Sundays.
We were scared that this appointment would be a round two of our nightmare VISA appointment back in Vancouver. A huge group of us waited outside until the office opened at 8:30 am, at this point they let us all into a classroom where they took our passports and then just left us to sit for like a hour and a half. Hahaha we has no idea how long we would be there so it was a bit of a test of patience but Kristina had some fun doing a drawing game to pass the time.
They brought our passports back and sent us on our way, no questions asked.
Then we went to Nice and did a little shopping. I bought a pair of sunglasses for 4 euros from H&M. What a steal!
After I went home and had a huge nap then we went out to meet up with our Canadian and Finnish friends. That was a lot of fun, because they are all very easy going and make great conversation. Lots of laughs.
