Sunrise at SKEMA
Today we arrived at school at 7:15 am for our 8 o’clock class. So yes turns out the bus doesn’t always take an hour 20, more like 30 min today. LOL But at least I got to catch the sunrise before class started.
We are taking Advanced Service Management in the Luxury Industry this week. It was such a fascinating first class, our professor is an incredibly experienced architect who specializes in Luxury offices working with huge names such as LinkedIn and Cartier! I was honestly blow away by his lecture, he was an expert in telling stories which relate to course principles such as outlining the way Hermes creates an exclusive experience to buying handbags and how you must be a loyal, frequent shopper to gain access to popular items. We also learned about the increase in the “sharing economy” and that our generation values experiences over ownership.
At dusk Kristina and I went for another run! Still crushing the fitness game, we are hoping we can keep this up with our workloads increasing but I really hope so. It is nice taking a run to clear my head and to get away from technology.
