Fit girls

Today the roomies were killing the fitness game. We went for a group run along the water and actually pushed ourselves really hard, I thought I might throw up. This is pretty classic for me and long distance running as my friends know, cross country races we’re rough times as a kid even though I always placed really well haha. I kept it together and am hoping I will be sore tomorrow. We continued on the health train by eating a ton of salad. I had salad at breakfast, lunch and dinner with balsamic vinegar, olive oil, red peppers, Boursin and eggs and chick peas. (Don’t worry mom, I am getting my protein in 😋)

In the afternoon, Alexis came over and we walked around town a bit and I got these amazing boots. They were on sale for 20% off so I am pretty pleased with this buy.

TODAY’S CULTURE LESSON:

NEVER wear your sweats out of the house. Kristina and I took the garbage out this morning and wore our sweat pants/ pj shirts and flip flops, thinking oh yeah its fine..just a short trip to the bin…We were wrong.. I have never been side eyed by so many people at once! The entire lineup at the bakery underneath our house glared at us and we scurried across the alley. The citizens of France do not want to see you in your lounge clothes. I have not caught anyone in leggings, workout gear or anything athletic in the streets yet. If you are exercising you better be wearing nice, fitted workout gear… no old, out of shape, stained t-shirts. We couldn’t help but laugh the whole way back up the stairs by being caught looking like complete slobs. Whoops! Now we know!
