Pay to pee

Today we travelled back from Milan. It was a pretty standard travel day on the train. The only weird thing was I had to pay to go to the bathroom!!! At the train station in Milan it cost 1 euro to used the bathroom, and then at the station in Nice it was .80 cents! This is very inconvenient because I don’t usually have small change, so what do you do if you don’t have cash?! Pee your pants? I can absolutely see that happening. That would would happen without a doubt to Annika or I as a kid, lol what a nightmare. Plus they don’t make it easy for emergencies because you have to pay to get through the automatic gates to the bathroom just like the skytrain gates at home. From my knowledge there is no emergency entrance, so you have to dance around as you rummage through your bag for exact change.

This one was mush nicer of the two but honestly they are terrible bathrooms considering you have to pay to get in… very yucky.
