Chocolate Mousse and Saxophone
Models are on to something with pilates! It really crushes all those little muscles you don’t even realize you have. Talk about a wake up!
The class was on the wellness deck and much busier than yoga yesterday, mostly girls except for two guys guys that joined in. I was super impressed by the instructors flexibility, I will have to keep working!
My work day was pretty jam packed, it made it easier that it was pretty grey weather out so I didn’t feel like I was missing out on the sunshine. I am managing a team now and sort of wishing we were in the same location because I think I would benefit from being able to watch other managers in action and connecting with my team in person, i am pretty excited for our next company trip to Utah.
After work I got myself dressed for dinner, I am kind of pretending I am on a cruise today, you know do the “look” for dinner even though you don’t really have to. I walked down to where some restaurants are and landed back on Cafe Milagro for some more Arrepas con Cerde (corn buns with pulled pork). I had the same waiter as last time so I decided to try to order in Spanish the way he explained last time “Mi gustaria Limonada buena y arrepas con cerde”. Limonada Buena has different names at different restaurants but it’s basically just lemonade blended with ice and mint. I love it, any time I get a drink in Costa Rica, it has been my choice.
I was going to stop there but then I learned they have a Gluten Free chocolate mouse so I decided to ball out and get it. It is made from avocado and something else I couldn’t understand in Spanish lol. Mystery mousse. By the end of the meal I was feeling like that kid from the movie Matilda to had to eat the giant chocolate cake, I couldn’t leave it unfinished, but also how are you supposed to box up a mousee so I sat there and finished it.
Stuffed, I walked to the grocery store for more eggs and bananas. Then back to the hostel for a night swim.
Tonight the hostel is having a live saxophone player on the rooftop bar so I went up to listen for a bit in my towel. I got cold so I went to shower and brought my laptop up to write this post and enjoy the music. It was lovely!
