Lisbon, Portugal

April 10, 2019

We woke up quite exhausted because there were some serious snorers in our room and last night we could hear the group of high school students having fun at the hostel. They are on some sort of wild class trip.

I worked for a bit in the morning and then met up with Sabrina and Kristina to walk the city. It is beautiful, very green. The weather was very erratic switching between sunshine and downpour haha.

The city is incredibly hilly. I had no idea, so we surely pushed our muscles after 17km of hilled walking through the day.

For lunch, we went to a very authentic Portuguese restaurant, which I can’t pronounce. We were the only English speakers there! I ordered Bitoque, which is a traditional dish consisting of steak and chips with a fried egg on top. Kristina and Sabrina got a whole fish and salad! the head and all, it was delicious, I don’t usually like fish much but I tried some of theirs and loved it!

We didn’t intend to do the bulk of our touring today so we sort of just walked around as we pleased.
