Family in my pocket
We were aiming to hike Eze today, but Emma wasn’t feeling great and Kristina wasn’t feeling it so I had a little chill day. I spent some time in the afternoon outside writing postcards to friends back home. It’s funny trying to think of what to say in a post card when I message most of them on a weekly basis anyways hahaha. If you read this blog you should probably check your mail because a card is likely coming your way… I hope I don’t screw myself by saying that… If you even know this blog exists then it means I love you so please message me if yours gets lost in the mail. ;) <3
The modern day is wild because we can spend hours hanging out with people from home while travelling halfway across the world. I spoke with Annika for an hour today while she got ready for school and I cooked lunch, as if we were in the same house. I am not sure if technology is stealing the experience of being totally alone in a foreign place without much opportunity to talk with friends and family, but I am happy that is exists.
