Stormy
It was pouring rain all day today!!! It’s only rained once since we arrived but I guess the skies were just saving up for a massive downpour. It sort of reminded me of Hawaii in the rain because it was a bit warm still and the palm trees were making noise in the wind. I went for a little walk around to get some air and was completely drenched through all my layers of clothes by the time I got home. I remember, in grade 8 french class our teacher told us that instead of saying its raining cats and dogs, the french say “Il pleut des cordes” = ”its raining ropes”. Hahaha I can’t believe I still remember that. I had to google the french version but the ropes thing stuck with me. The imagery is cool because when you draw heavy rain you would often draw long lines instead of drops. Clever.
Annika asked that I make more videos because those are he favourite, so here is one of me walking around in the storm. I sort of sound and look like a boy because I had just gotten out of bed to checkout the ocean hahaha but I’m sure she will get a kick out of it. <3
In the afternoon all 3 of us roommates went to the gym and got drenched again walking there and home haha. See look at us go, 2 days in a row.. can we make it for 3?
